Selection of Church Seating to Get a New Look

If your church wants to try a new look and for this if it considers replacement of church seating, for the sanctuary seating, there are three main options. They include fixed pews; movable, stackable church pew chairs and fixed theatre seating. In order to select between these seating options, there are several factors that you should consider.

Factors to consider selecting the seating:

These factors include the cost, the needs of your church and the image that you wish to convey. The cost consideration is important but it should not be the only consideration in selecting the church seating. While considering the cost, if you think of the cost per person seated rather than cost per item, it is more helpful.

Fixed pews have long life span. The maintenance required for the fixed pews is very less. These fixed pews are more expensive than any other church seating. These expensive church seating can fit more people than other church seating. While deciding the type of church seating, in the decision making process, you have to be aware and must involve the needs of your congregation. Other than the fixed pews, you can select the stackable, movable church chairs, if the workspace is used for purposes other than the Sunday morning service.

Other types of chairs to select:

The people that attend church may also include the one who needs assistance. For those members of the congregation, you can scatter the chairs with arms among the church chairs with armless. The church chairs with wheel chair access can also be arranged.

After all these selection of chairs, the final thing but not the least one that you should consider is the traditions of your church and also the appearance. You can select the fixed theatre seating, if your church has a larger membership and requires seating thousands of people for the congregation. Chairs with multipurpose facility are to be used, if the church building is used for other purposes like dining, fellowship and other services. Classical appearance of the fixed pews can be selected if the traditional congregation is served by the church.
